The following is the outline notes of a presentation given by Ian price to the SSAC committee regarding the planned new website set-up.
Why a new web site? Function & Form

Site looking tired and dated – due to difficultly in updating

Allows any permitted user to add content
Who you are logged on as controls what you can see
Site should stay current and fresh, acting as a great advertisement for the club
New features are available:-
· Blogs (web logs)
· Club events and social calendar with sign-up online
· User administered photo gallery allowing pictures from the latest dive
· Secure, members only, contact list for email, phone, etc to help plan dives
· Forums to discuss new dives, sites, equipment or even websites
