Salford Scooba Log

18/01/09 Well it was the first dip of the Year and four of us made it to Capernwray. For Pete & Me it was intended as a shake down for Lanzarote next month, and a chance for Tony & Julia to rack up a qualifying dive for Sport Diver. Quick mooch around, the water temp actually got up to 5 degrees, so managed a full 30 minutes. No freeflows & no leaks but everyone’s pinkies were chuffin freezing. First off the blocks for the broken prop next year is Pete, not too exciting but forgot to don his weightbelt, Julia caught it in the Buddy check and bubbled him; only because we learn from others mistakes…….……..Yeh Right Well at least it didn’t rain, suppose it was better than watching telly. Oh and thanks for the butties Julia……. Tony’s soup wasn’t bad either. Cheers Graham For those who are interested http://www.dive-site.co.uk/
