Website Site Launch during Autumn

Following on from a committee meeting, it is now planned to launch this new website some time in the Autumn.

The current To Do list follows below. Please add a comment if you feel there is anything missed off.

 

Priority 1 - To be completed before Go Live date

  • Expand Try Dive info page
  • Complete Further Training page
  • Create Information page
  • Review need for/revise Members Area page - use for club specific news?
  • Review need for/revise Club News page & menu
  • Revise & update Content Types, including Event types, etc.
  • Add pictures & graphics to site, especially front page & header
  • Finalise menus and add 'Home' to Primary menu
  • Remove Search from member menus (function is on header)
  • Review separate Profile page
  • Amend Profile Info to include tick boxes for basic qualifications
  • Add Emergency Contact Info to Profile

 

Priority 2 - To be completed shortly after Go Live date on an on-going basis

  • ALL users (via editors): Add & amend content on the site
  • ALL users (via editors): Add Club History (in Book Format?)
  • Add dynamic content to front page - mini-panels etc.
  • Create Guests Gallery page and Galleries
  • Create Registered/Members Gallery page and Galleries
  • Add forums to site - may be done before Go Live site
  • Add a weblinks function for user added (with editor approval) links

  • Add drop down menus
  • Add Event registration
  • Add Polls
  • Add Diver Training Module to track new diver progress
  • Sort background colour in TinyMCE editor
